Main Goal:

Providing people with Down Syndrome and their families with specialized education and healthcare programs that allow them to develop their abilities and skills to the fullest.

Specific goals:

• Offering people with Down Syndrome a quality education adapted to their special education needs through our Education Program.

• Offering access to sports, leisure and cultural activities that enrich and complement our students’ overall development.

• Helping people with DS acquire specific social skills that provide them with a greater degree of individual autonomy.

• Offering information and counseling services to parents and other relatives of people with DS through our Parents’ School program and our book, newspaper and video libraries.

• Providing specialized medical, psychological and educational services through the Down Syndrome Clinic.

• Designing, developing and implementing programs providing counseling, training and updated information on Down Syndrome through the Continuing Education Program.

• Offering an education in the visual arts through the Mexican School of Down Art.

• Organizing and promoting academic, scientific and cultural events of a National and International scope.
